Club rules

Every Club member shall be bound and submit to the rules of the club.

All members and visitors must sign in & report to reception before using any club facilities.

Golfers must reserve tee times.

No members shall introduce more than one member per day at the discounted rate. (The same member may only be signed in (golf) 3 times by the same member within a 12 month period) Social members are not permitted to sign in golfers at the discounted rate.

Members signing in a guest are responsible for their conduct at all times.

The Directors shall have the authority to fix the hours during which the clubhouse will be open, provided that the hours during which the bar shall be open for the sale of intoxicating liquor does not exceed such hours as are permitted by the Licensing Magistrates. In particular the Directors may close the clubhouse for a period not exceeding three days at any one time, or for a more extended period for the purpose of cleaning, repairs or redecoration.

The Directors have sole discretion to expel members for gross misconduct.

Any members expelled in accordance with the rules, or otherwise ceasing to be a member of the Club, shall forfeit all such rights to, or claim upon, the Club or its property or funds, as he/she otherwise would have by reason of membership.

All members are to be respectful of carpets and flooring in changing rooms & corridors. Do not soak carpets un-necessarily.

Social members must not use the golfing changing rooms.

No glass or any description to be taken downstairs. To be confined to the main bar or downstairs "Brisons Room" and patios.

No paper, notice or placard, written or printed, shall be exhibited in the clubhouse or in any way bought to the attention of the members without the sanction of the Directors.

Dogs are not permitted on the course or in the clubhouse, with the exception of guide dogs.

No hard golf spikes permitted in the clubhouse.

Use of all facilities by members are used at their own risk including use of the buggies.

Juniors under 15 years are not permitted to use the pool or gymnasium or sauna without supervision.

Please take due care when parking your vehicle in the car park and not displaying valuables, owners park at their own risk.

Membership Payments

All cancellations must be in writing - 30 days notice on standing orders

Annual payments are non-refundable and will automatically renew if written notice is not received.

In exceptional circumstances, and with the permission of the Directors an account maybe suspended for a period of up to 3 months.

Should an account accrue arrears of over three months the arrears and joining fee will become payable to reinstate.

Dress Code

Members and guests are required to be respectably dressed at all times in the clubhouse, uncovered singlets, gym attire and bare feet are not acceptable.

Hats are not permitted to be worn by Gentlemen in the clubhouse

On the Golf course

Dress code on the course, golf shoes are mandatory, shorts must be tailored, collared shirts, no denim, smart casual trousers.

Golf bags or clubs may not be shared.

Non-playing guests must be dressed appropriately and must not walk on the Tees & Greens.

No buggies/ trolleys on greens or tees

No under 16-year olds are permitted to drive the buggies.

Children

Children must be over 15 years to use the pool facility without the supervision of an adult.

Children under 14 years are not permitted to sit or stand at the bar.

Children under 14 years must vacate the clubhouse by 9 pm, unless accompanied by an adult and partaking in a meal.

Under 18 years, are not permitted to play the gaming machines.

Junior Golfers

To 9 years of age, permitted in the clubhouse and on the course with an adult.

To 9 years juniors are permitted to play without a handicap certificate with the approval of the golf professional.

10-17 years non-members are permitted on the course with an adult.

10-17 years members are permitted on the course with a handicap certificate or the approval of the golf professional.

Golfing juniors — Boys

Are permitted to play in competitions providing they are playing with an adult member as follows:-

15-17 years with a handicap of 28 are permitted to play in competitions with the exception of Members Invitation Day.

Under 14 years with a handicap of 28 may play in medals & stablefords only.

Golfing juniors — Girls

May play in Ladies competitions, subject to handicap restrictions, excluding Members Invitation Day.
